IndieGoGo Campaign Planning
We met with Steve Rustad to begin planning our IndieGoGo campaign to rais funds to support the move.
Jean and I have saved up funds, sold the little MGA that was the store mascot car, gone for a bank loan, and negotiated an improvement allowance with our new landlord. All that covers the basics and ensures that we will make the move and open in September. Our rough estimate for the move is just over $200,000. This estimate includes new flooring, paint, required lighting, construction, equipment, and physically moving everything. As yet undetermined expenses include architecural design work and city permit fees.
As things stand now, we will be able to make the move, restock the shelves, and set up the Wonderground activity space using the tables and supplies we have on hand.
With your help we will be able to improve the quality of the activity spaces, expand stock, and upgrade the look and finish of the store.
We are working on some great graphics for contribution rewards, including a FunBot button, t-shirts, and tote bags.
