Here are some pictures from last Friday's International Plastic Modelers Society meeting. It was a good turn out with some very interesting models and a great presentation by Greg on how to solder fine details like landing gear struts.

IPMS-092013 The club has a new banner to use at events. Jack gets the meeting started. The theme this month was figures. Ray brought in a nice fighter. He also had the beginning of a purple, glittered tank he is building with his daughter. Mark and Jonh broiught figures from WWI and WWII Grant and John talk about the models they brought. Grant had some early Ma.K figures. In the back are photo-etch and resin accessories to go the the Robby the Robot kit. Ira say the name of this creation is Raptor, made from a Star Wars walker, Romulan warbird, and an Easter egg. It won the theme award for the evening. Here's a custom sculpted surfer also made by Ira. Howard found some interesting Anime kits and will be building the soon. Alan brought in some detailed Gundam figures.
