Build your own battery powered Mini-4WD car and race it on our three-lane track.
Each guest receives a Tamiya Mini-4WD kit to assemble and decorate at the party with help from the Fundemonium assistant. (Recommended for children 10 years and up although we have had younger guests with parental help.)
The cars are free running electric cars that use 2-AA bateries. Guests are given instructions on model building techniques and learn how electric motors work and how power is transferred through gears to the wheels.
The first half of the party involves assembling the kits and testing them for proper running. The kits do have some small parts, bushings, and gears but they snap together with no glue required. Guests then add stickers from the kits and can customize the car with markers provided by Fundemonium. It is helpful if at least one parent can help in teaching the guests how to build the kits.
The second part of the party involves running the cars on the track and continued customization. Running the cars is usally done free-style but competetive racing can also be set up.
Each guest takes their Mini-4WD car home.
Base price is for 10 guests and includes a Mini 4WD kits and 2 AA batteries per kit. Additional guests are $20 each.
